02Beyond launch

A system lives most of its life after launch. That’s where we stay.

After launch the work changes rather than ends: content keeps arriving, people sign up, rules and integrations move. We run the platforms we build through all of it, and keep improving them from how they are actually used.

Stanford University Press · Publishing

Five journals, one editorial system.

We designed the identities of five journals — marks, type and colour — the templates their PDFs are set in, and the transformer that turns each article’s structured source into its HTML. A new issue needs no new design: the system carries it.

The case study

NOVA SBE Executive Education · Learning

A platform we run, month after month.

We operate the school’s learning platform day to day: setting up programmes, producing course units from source material and checking every unit before it goes live — and adjusting it all as the programmes change.
